Boyhood lidera indiações ao Gotham Awards

O Independent Filmmaker Project (IFP) revelou hoje os indicados da 24ª edição do Gotham Awards e o grande destaque é Boyhood. O filme recebeu quatro indicações, de um total de sete categorias.


O drama de Richard Linklater (trilogia Before Sunrise, Bernie, Me And Orson Welles) concorre como melhor filme, melhor ator, melhor atriz e melhor revelação. Birdman, Under The Skin e Nightcrawler aparecem em seguida com duas indicações cada.

Apesar de A Most Violent Year não ter sido lançado em nenhum festival ainda, Oscar Isaac recebeu indicação de melhor ator. O trio protagonista de Foxcatcher - Steve Carrel, Channing Tatum e Mark Ruffalo - também chamou atenção, uma vez que receberá um prêmio especial do júri do evento por seu trabalho no longa.

Além dos ganhadores das categorias destinadas às produções independentes mais badaladas do ano, o Gotham homenageia Tilda Swinton, o diretor Bennett Miller e Ted Sarandos, do Netflix. O público também vai votar no seu favorito do ano, no Gotham Audience Award.

A cerimônia abre a temporada de premiações de 2014 em 1º de dezembro, na Cipriani Wall Street (Nova York). Confira abaixo a lista completa de indicados:
