'71 lidera indicações ao British Independent Film Awards

Os indicados ao 17º British Independent Film Awards foram anunciados hoje e '71 é o grande destaque da lista. O primeiro filme de Yann Demange recebeu nove nominações.


"Esse tem sido um ano recorde para o Moët British Independent Film Awards, com mais de 250 filmes inscritos, dando aos nossos membros o maior desafio que já tiveram. Bastante impressionada com a qualidade dos filmes e performances em todas as categorias, a lista demonstra como que o padrão de criatividade no cinema britânico independente continua a florescer todo ano", elogiaram Johanna von Fischer e Tessa Collinson, diretoras da premiação.

Além do drama '71, o evento tem como destaque Pride, com nove indicações, e Catch Me Daddy, Frank e Mr. Turner com cinco cada. O Richard Harris Award e Variety Award serão anunciados em breve e o prêmio especial do júri apenas na noite da cerimônia.
